Alexa is a musculoskeletal and medical pedicure podiatrist who brings a warm, deeply caring approach to every consultation. She is passionate about helping people move and feel better from the feet up. Patients can expect a thorough and considered assessment, beginning with a comprehensive history and detailed biomechanical evaluation of the entire lower limb. This whole-body approach allows Alexa to accurately identify the underlying cause of pain or dysfunction and tailor treatment accordingly.

Alexa holds a Bachelor of Health Science and a Master of Podiatric Medicine from Western Sydney University and is deeply committed to ongoing professional development. She recently returned to Australia after two years working in a leading sports podiatry clinic in London, where she gained extensive hands-on experience and completed further postgraduate coursework in running biomechanics and lower-limb rehabilitation, including training with The Running School.

With additional qualifications in Studio Rehabilitation Pilates with Polestar Australia, Alexa places a strong emphasis on movement retraining, strength, and functional rehabilitation. Her sports podiatry practice integrates a broad skill set, including gait and running assessments, lower-limb strength and conditioning, trigger-point dry needling, Foot Mobilisation Therapy, custom-orthotic therapy. This allows her to work closely with other practitioners within the multidisciplinary team to support long-term, sustainable outcomes for her patients.

Alexa also provides medical pedicure treatments with a gentle, meticulous approach. During a medical pedicure consultation, she addresses concerns such as ingrown nails, thickened or damaged nails, corns, plantar warts, calluses, and fungal nails, or offers a clinical-grade foot “clean-up” for those seeking an alternative to a traditional pedicure.

Please note: toenail painting is not included as part of the medical pedicure experience. Patients are encouraged to use a home nail painting kit consisting of a base coat, colour, and top coat to maintain nail health and hygiene.
